Everyone is talking about University of Maryland and Duke bball game. Well I was at Santa Fe, for a friend’s concert, when the rioting started. The riot literally started in front of Santa Fe and 7-11. A friend of mine was outside and came in to tell us that the cops were outside on horse and on foot with riot shields. It was about 1230 or 100 and we were not allowed to go outside. And by this time, it was past my bed time and I need to get up at 5 for work and what not. Anyways, we were able to leave at 1:30. We got down a half block on Rt. 1, when we saw a bunch of cops throw a kid against a cop car and handcuff him. Five minutes later, after getting gas at the BP, the cops roll by with another riot squad. So glad we left when we did. It is soo crazy there last night.
